Okay well pardon my excitement. But for once it feels good for them to actually tell me whats going on. Things make sense now. I feel so much better. Oh thank god. Now I know theres not some evil gnome in my ovaries eating all my eggs.
My wife also has PCOS. It is a way underdiagnosed condition. It made it difficult for us to conceive and has given her a lot of trouble controlling her weight and other issues. There are a few books that are good. (She's also a librarian) Come remind me at my site and I'll try to get their names for you.
I have PCOS as well, which explains the slow and steady weight gain in my midsection that's been occurring over the last several years. It's tough to take off, and I'm currently stuck. Hang in there, oh, and thanks for visiting this morning.
Thanks for leaving a comment at my blog. I didn't know anyone ever read it! While I can't say that I'm happy for you for having PCOS, I am happy that you got a diagnosis and can work on it. In case you haven't been there, you should go to www.SoulCysters.net. It is a WONDERFUL site with tons of supportive women with PCOS and lots of information. I'm SO glad that I found it when I was diagnosed.
Just thought you should know. And I posted here on this item because..well, I dunno. Because I have PCOS, I'm fat, and ...and... well just because! *grin*
